Resources
Ever since WCA got started in 2002, we have received lots of inquiries from acupuncturists about our business model. In 2006, we helped found the Community Acupuncture Network as a way to help support other acupuncturists to create accessible, sustainable community clinics.
If you are a practitioner seeking information about how we do what we do, please join CAN. If you are a patient looking for affordable, accessible acupuncture clinics in your area, please visit CAN's Locate a Clinic page.
Visiting the Mothership
We encourage acupuncturists who are considering practicing community acupuncture to visit community acupuncture clinics by making an appointment to receive acupuncture. Seeing the clinic from a patient perspective is enormously valuable.
WCA treats over 400 patients a week, and while we welcome acupuncturists to experience our clinic, please understand that all of our staff are busy and probably do not have time to answer your questions. CAN is where questions can be answered and you can dialog with a community of peers. If you want to visit the mothership, please do so as a patient or attend one of our workshops for acupuncturists. Contact lupine@workingclassacupuncture.org for more information.
