This is a summary of WCA’s COVID safety practices as they apply to you, the patient.
WCA is following the official policies of CDC, OHA, and OSHA to direct our response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
You are encouraged, but no longer required, to wear a mask in the clinic as of April 3, 2023, unless you are experiencing symptoms of respiratory illness. If you are coughing or sneezing, we require you to wear a mask..

Treatment Room
All acupuncturists will wash/disinfect their hands in between treating patients and touching surfaces.
All WCA clinics use industrial-strength air purification technology.
Please keep talking to a minimum. If you want to bring in a written note describing your symptoms for your acupuncturist to read, that would be fine.
This safety plan is based on our research and on current guidance from the Oregon Health Authority (we actually called them and talked through our procedures, if anybody’s wondering). COVID-19 represents a rapidly evolving situation and our procedures may change based on new information.
