ORCCA Fund for Students of Color

Within the healthcare system, and within the acupuncture profession itself, there is a need for more representation of people of color to treat and support patients of color within communities of the global majority. This fundraising effort is one way we are working towards reclaiming leadership and dignity within the healthcare system for healers and communities of color. The fund provides tuition support to help place them on the frontlines of restoring mental, emotional, spiritual and physical health in marginalized communities.

Tuition, board exams, study materials, and other fees are projected to cost each student around $25,000 total for the three-year program. Donations in any amount are welcome. Award amounts are contingent on the fund balance each year. Applications are accepted annually – current students will be notified of the deadline via email.

Thank you for helping to educate the next generation of community acupuncturists!
